Star Wars Fans React to Crosshair [SPOILERS] in The Bad Batch Season Finale

Fans finally got what they wanted in the previous episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch when Crosshair was reunited with the rest of Clone Force 99. However, it looks like the long separation, as well as the events in the premiere episode, led to a shocking decision by Crosshair in the season finale.

WATCH OUT! The following contains SPOILERS from The Bad Batch Episode 16! PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

In Kamino Lost, we were immediately brought back to the destruction of Tipoca City, which is starting to sink into the ocean. The Empire is satisfied with its work and leaves the planet, not knowing that there are survivors amidst the wreckage.

Crosshair finds himself stuck in the flooding room but is promptly helped by Omega and AZI-3. Reuniting with the rest of the Bad Batch, they try to make their way back up to their ship after discovering that the tube leading to the surface has been damaged.

AZI-3 volunteers to guide everyone back up to the surface using the lab capsules but the droid runs out of power without finishing the job. A distressed Omega jumps back into the water to rescue her friend, causing the Bad Batch to panic when she doesn't come back up for a long time.

That's when Crosshair takes action. aiming his rifle in Omega's direction and using a special feature that attaches to the droid and brings both of them back to the surface. However, his wary companions aim their weapons at him, understandably concerned that he would harm Omega.

Crosshair doesn't say anything to defend his actions but he does speak up later when they are back on the ship. He declares that he will not go with them and chooses to stay behind on Kamino. Before leaving, Omega reminds Crosshair that the Bad Batch are still his brothers and that he is her brother too. This doesn't sway Crosshair who doesn't even watch the ship fly away.

It's a sad way to end the first season and fans are understandably emotional after what Crosshair went through.

Although they parted ways, there is a good chance that Crosshair will see The Bad Batch again in the future. After all, the series has been renewed for a second season and fans are hoping Crosshair will eventually turn his back on the Empire and reunite with Clone Force 99.

All 16 episodes of The Bad Batch Season 1 are now streaming on Disney+. The Bad Batch Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date but will premiere on the streaming service in 2022.
