Andor's phenomenal and much-talked-about Season 1 finale nearly made Star Wars history as it originally included the franchise's first F-bomb. Yup, believe it or not, the beloved science fiction franchise spanning 45 years has never gone the R-rated route and it almost happened. Unfortunately, Disney decided against it, thinking it wasn't a good idea to include vulgar dialogues in a galaxy far, far away.

Denise Gough, who plays Dedra Meero in the hit Disney+ series recently revealed in an Empire Magazine interview that Fiona Shaw's character Maarva Andor originally uttered the phrase "F*ck the Empire" during the finale episode's monologue.

Disney ultimately replaced it with the "Fight the Empire" line which honestly still has a nice ring to it. It can't be denied though that adding the F-bomb would have added more conviction to the scene.

After learning about the altered scene, fans stormed Twitter and demanded Disney to "Release the F*ck Cut". Now, it may seem hilarious to some of you but they are pretty determined to make the movement a success. Check out some of the reactions below:

The real question is, will Disney actually be persuaded to release the original and unfiltered version of the monologue? Realistically, the chances of them pulling the trigger are slim to none but of course, the House of Mouse has proven over the last couple of years that it is now ready to embrace content that pushes the envelope so I guess never say never.

And hey, if they're giving Deadpool a pass in terms of keeping his vulgarity and R-rated nature, I don't see why they wouldn't listen to the Star Wars fandom.

All episodes of Andor's first season are available to stream on Disney+.
