There is little doubt that there have been several awesome droids who were introduced in the Star Wars Universe. However, fans are now declaring that IG-11 is the best droid in the galaxy, thanks to his heroic moves in the final episode of The Mandalorian Season 1.

That's a lot of heroic acts packed in just one episode and people are celebrating IG-11 in the best way possible.
Fans were also praising Taika Waititi, who not only provided the voice of IG-11 but also directed the epic season finale.
Although it's unlikely that we'll see IG-11 in The Mandalorian Season 2, fans believe that it was the best way to say goodbye to a truly awesome character.
