Star Wars Fans are Infuriated Following The Mandalorian's Golden Globes Loss

I think we can all agree that The Mandalorian is easily the best Star Wars project Lucasfilm has produced in recent memory and it isn't so surprising that it ended up getting recognized by major award-giving bodies like the Emmys and Golden Globes because it's just that good.

However, despite the show's compelling narrative, an amazing set of characters, stunning visuals, and extreme popularity amongst viewers both diehard and casual, it still wasn't enough to help it score a Golden Globe award for Best Television Drama Series and by the end of the spectacle, The Mandalorian would lose the bet to the hit Netflix series The Crown.

Naturally, fans of the hit Disney+ series couldn't accept the loss and took to social media to express their disappointment and frustration over Mando and The Child's Golden Globes snub. Check out some of the reactions below:

While it's quite unfortunate that The Mandalorian didn't end up becoming triumphant at the Golden Globes, the fact that the Pedro Pascal-led series was recognized by one of the most prestigious award-giving bodies out there is already a huge honor in itself. There's absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.

Now, in my opinion, Season 3 will be a major turning point in the series as it could potentially be taken in a different direction with the possible absence of Grogu aka Baby Yoda. Of course, Grogu not being part of the show will be a daunting task for the writers considering a lot of people hail him as the true star of the series. If anything though, the third season could finally give Mando his true chance to shine without having to rely on The Child.

The Mandalorian Season 3 will begin filming this April.
