Star Wars: Episode IX’s Oscar Isaac Promises Fans That They’re Going To Be Blown Away

Star Wars fans might have very little going in terms of Star Wars: Episode IX news, but sequel trilogy star Oscar Isaacs promises everyone that the film's going to be worth the wait.

Sure, hype over the third and final sequel trilogy installment might be relatively low without any teaser trailer or title reveal to tickle the Star Wars fanbase, but Isaacs says that the film is going to be "incredible" and that he thinks that "people are just going to be blown away."

Speaking in an interview with the Associated Press, Dameron talks about what it was like working on Episode IX's production and then teases fans with what they can expect from the Star Wars film.

"It was the most fun it's been. There was just an energy and a looseness and excitement to the whole production," Dameron said during his interview with AP, "And knowing that this was the conclusion of not only our time there but the nine stories, these nine episodes of the Skywalker Saga, it's incredible. And I think people are gonna be just blown away."

Of course, while we might naturally expect actors to speak well of projects that they're participating in, Isaac adds a whole lot of expectation when he tells everyone that they're going to be blown away by The Last Jedi sequel.

Then again, Episode IX definitely should end with a bang. Not only does the film serve as the last installment in Lucasfilm's Star Wars sequel trilogy, but it also marks the end of the Skywalker saga. After this, Star Wars is off to new things with Game of Thrones showrunner's DB Weiss and David Benioff's new set of films. Don't forget Rian Johnson's trilogy too.

Star Wars: Episode IX premieres on December 20, 2019.
