Star Wars: Episode IX's Mark Hamill On Fans Hoping For Spoilers

Lucasfilm's been pretty quiet the past few months. Disappointed by the absence of any sort of Star Wars: Episode IX during last weekend's Super Bowl game, Star Wars fans have been dying for any kind of information they can get about the studio's third and final sequel trilogy installment.

While some have been desperately hassling Star Wars actors like Mark Hamill, the legendary joker (pun intended of course) refuses to give anything away saying that it's not really worth trying to get details about Episode IX from him, playing around with "Nein Nine Answers."

"What's the title? When's the trailer? Are you Rey's father? Are you dead-a Force Ghost or did you project off Ahch-To? Will you haunt Kylo? Visit Leia/Lando? Flashbacks? 3rd Lesson? Is Chewie vegan now? My all-purpose response-Nein Nine Answers" Hamill wrote on his post.

The Star Wars legend also added a GIF of him answering an interviewer at Star Wars Celebration saying that "if I leaked something they'd cut off my head and throw it right in my face." Hamill even included hashtags emphasizing his silence, writing #NoLeaks and #MouthWideShut.

Of course, while Hamill claims that he isn't open to leaking out info about Episode IX, the Star Wars legend doesn't mind taunting the fanbase, pulling everyone's leg with "title reveals," trailer drop dates, and all sorts of pranks.

Star Wars fans can be overly passionate about the franchise, and some tend to overanalyze every little thing – a character trait that Hamill loves making fun of.

Star Wars: Episode IX is set to premiere December 20, 2019.
