Star Wars: Episode IX Leak Teases Scene Between Luke Skywalker And Young Ben Solo

We already know that Mark Hamill will return as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode IX despite the character's death in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. But how exactly is Luke going to be brought back in the highly anticipated sequel? It looks like there is a major flashback sequence that will show how Ben Solo began training under Luke.

The leak was revealed in a Reddit post that offered some details about the flashback sequence. Interestingly, the scene will feature Leia Organa and Han Solo dropping off young Ben for Jedi training. The same boy later tells Luke that he wants to be a Jedi and protect the galaxy.

It's an interesting sequence that seems in line with what people are already expecting in Episode IX. There have been speculations that the final film in the Skywalker Saga will focus on Kylo Ren's fate. If this is true then it would make sense for the film to feature a flashback sequence showing much of his origins.

It was previously reported that Han Solo could also be brought back in Episode IX through unused Star Wars: The Force Awakens footage. Could these be the same scenes that will feature Han and Leia bringing young Ben to Luke? It's plausible but we still recommend taking these details with a grain of salt.

Star Wars: Episode IX has not yet been given an official title or trailer. However, it's possible that everything will be revealed at the Star Wars Celebration this April. In the meantime, the film is scheduled for release on December 20.
