Star Wars: Episode IX Leak Teases Dark Kylo Ren, Darth Vader Scene

We could be getting a terrifying glimpse at Darth Vader in Star Wars: Episode IX. A new leak suggests that Kylo Ren will somehow interact with the former Anakin Skywalker in the highly anticipated sequel.

People have been speculating about Hayden Christensen's possible involvement in Episode IX. Although the actor has not confirmed whether he will appear in the film, a new leak purports that his character will be part of a major sequence with Adam Driver (via Express). Interestingly, the scene description sounds like it's part of a horror film.

"A description of Kylo Ren inside a medical room. He is walking down a hallways [sic] when he hears someone screaming in pain. He walks into another room where he discovers Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader with his suit on but mask off, pinned to a wall where heavy machinery is replacing his old mechanical legs and arms with new ones," the source reveals.

The description further explains that Kylo approaches the figure as Anakin writhes in pain. He then watches as the Vader mask is placed on Anakin's head before exiting the room. Once he leaves, Kylo wakes from the nightmarish vision similar to how Anakin awakens in Revenge of the Sith.

It certainly sounds like a horrifying sequence that might be too dark for younger audiences. However, it also suggests that Kylo might finally be connecting to his grandfather in Episode IX. It has never been confirmed whether Ben Solo actually communicated with Anakin in Star Wars: The Force Awakens or The Last Jedi. Hopefully, this will mean we could get more of Darth Vader on the big screen. As always, it's still best to take this with a grain of salt.

Star Wars: Episode IX is scheduled for release on December 20, 2019.
