Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back Gets Adorable New Picture Book

It's no secret that The Empire Strikes Back is one of the best Star Wars movies in the Skywalker Saga. After all, it features Luke Skywalker's training with Yoda in Dagobah. Interestingly, that particular sequence is now the subject of an adorable picture book that's perfect for Star Wars fans and their kids.

The new picture book is titled A Jedi, You Will Be and it features the illustrations by Mike Deas. The official Star Wars Twitter account has just released some images from the new book. Check it out below.

The book is written by Preeti Chhibber and it looks like we're getting an adorable retelling of Luke's training. In addition to that, we may get to meet some of the other creatures that inhabit Dagobah.

Chhibber had previously spoken to Syfy Wire about the book, admitting that she is truly excited about writing a story involving the Jedi Master.

"Partnering with the team over at Lucasfilm has been amazing, as well," Chhibber said. "My editor on this book, Caitlin Kennedy, was as much of a passionate nerd about the universe as I am, and it made the act of writing feel less like work. The best part of writing Yoda is that I am writing Yoda."

We're loving the preview of the new picture book considering that it comes at a time when everyone is obsessed with Baby Yoda from The Mandalorian. Luckily, it looks like A Jedi, You Will Be will remind people that the original Yoda was just as lovable.

A Jedi, You Will Be will be available starting October 6.
