Star Wars: Dave Filoni Teases Ahsoka Tano Live-Action Film Still Possible

We already know that Ahsoka Tano will be back in Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 but is there any chance that she will ever get her own movie? Dave Filoni has teased on the possibility that Snips will be getting a live-action spin-off film.

Filoni was recently in Anaheim for the D23 Expo 2019 where he helped unveil the first trailer for The Mandalorian. While speaking to IGN (via Bespin Bulletin), the Clone Wars supervising director was asked if Ahsoka will ever cross over to live-action features. Check out his response below.

"Yeah, you know, never say never," Filoni said.

The response is certainly interesting considering that there have been speculations that Ahsoka could be getting her own movie or series on Disney+. Filoni actually laughed before answering so is it possible that the idea has already been brought up to him by Disney? Hopefully, we'll know for sure really soon.

While we're still waiting for Ahsoka to get her own live-action film, fans will get to see a possible reunion between Snips and her former master Anakin Skywalker in The Clone Wars Season 7. In addition to that, the first image from the final season depicts Ahsoka facing off against Maul so we can expect to see her in action next year. Although it is disappointing to know that the seventh season will be the last one for the animated series, we're loving the idea that the show will get a proper send-off.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 has not yet been given an official release date. However, it was confirmed that the final season will begin streaming on Disney+ by February 2020.
