Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 First Look Teases Ahsoka Tano Vs Maul In Final Showdown

It looks like fans will have to wait a little longer before we can get a new trailer for Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7. However, we now have our first look at what to expect in the final season and it's all about Ahsoka Tano taking on Maul.

The first image from the final season of The Clone Wars was unveiled at D23 Expo 2019. Check it out below.

We're certainly loving the idea of Ahsoka taking on Maul next year and hopefully, we could get a glimpse at the action when the final season's trailer is released before the end of the year.

It was previously confirmed by supervising director Dave Filoni that Season 7 is the last one for the animated series because it is set to fulfill what he and Star Wars creator George Lucas imagined for the show.

"It will conclude the story that [Lucas] and I started together. There could be stories after that that take place with a lot of those characters. But especially for me directing Clone Wars, being that hands-on, I wrote and directed the final four episodes. It's the end of something I feel really good about," Filoni said.

The revival of Star Wars: The Clone Wars was previously confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con last year. The trailer that was released in 2018 confirmed that Ahsoka will be back in action and we just can't wait to see her reunited with Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 will air on Disney+ in February 2020.
