This year's Star Wars Celebration is only about to be held in London this coming July, and already, Lucasfilm has announced the location for next year's major 3-day Star Wars event. Star Wars Celebration 2017 will be held in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center on April 13-16.
The announcement for next year's celebration has been properly timed though, since it is Star Wars Day today.
According to the official Star Wars Celebration website, tickets for the event can be purchased as soon as Wednesday, May 25, at 3:00 p.m. ET.
In a statement, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy said:
Star Wars Celebration has always been about the fans. It allows Lucasfilm to connect directly with the thousands of fans who have given their dedication and support to the world of Star Wars over the years, and is the perfect opportunity for us to give something back.
Other details about the event are yet to be announced, but the official site claims that they will be revealing more information soon.
Meanwhile, fans attending Star Wars Celebration in Europe can expect to see Warwick Davis hosting the event and an appearance from Mark Hamill. Tickets for the event on its Saturday run has been sold out.
In any case, fans can expect revelry in any of the events although the temperature in their locations would probably differ.
