Warwick Davis Is Hosting Star Wars Celebration Europe, Check Out The Amusing Video Announcement

The Star Wars Celebration Europe will be taking place in a few months and today, Lucasfilm just announced that Warwick Davis will be hosting the much anticipated festivity.

The last Celebration Europe, held in 2013 in Essen, Germany, also saw Davis hosting the event.

Matching the announcement, the 46-year-old British actor posted a video via YouTubeshowing him getting invited to host the event by Martina Frank from Lucasfilm. The actor seemed excited to get the call but he’s a bit too preoccupied with playing Star Wars make believe inside his car. The video doesn’t end too well though when Davis tries to use Jedi manipulation powers to convince an officer to “move along” after he’s questioned for speeding.

Check out the video announcement below:

Warwick Davis is popular to Star Wars fans for playing Wicket the Ewok in Return of the Jedi. His other roles in the space opera series are Wald and Weazel in The Phantom Menace and Wollivan in The Force Awakens

He is also famous for playing Professor Flitwick, Griphook, and a Goblin bank teller in the Harry Potter franchise.

Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016 will be held from July 15 to July 17 at the ExCel Center in London, England. Tickets to the event can be purchased here.
