Star Wars Celebrates Revenge of the Sith Anniversary With Awesome Mustafar Concept Art

In case you missed it, Revenge of the Sith just turned 15 today. The final film in the Star Wars prequel trilogy was first released back on May 19, 2005, and has since become one of the most iconic movies to date. So what's the best way to celebrate Episode III? Star Wars has just revealed an awesome concept art that commemorates the legendary lightsaber duel that took place on Mustafar.

The official Star Wars Instagram account has just shared the concept art by Ryan Church depicting the fight between Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi in Revenge of the Sith. Make sure to swipe through the post to see the rest of the image.

In Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan managed to track down Anakin (who was now Darth Vader) by hiding in Padme Amidala's ship when she set off to find him on Mustafar. Vader, who thought that the two were conspiring against him, chokes Padme before Obi-Wan engages him in a lengthy duel. The fight ends with Obi-Wan severing Vader's arms and legs and leaving him to die.

There is little doubt that the lightsaber duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan was one of the best fights in the Skywalker Saga but it was also a very emotional moment considering everything that the two have been through in the past. Needless to say, it all led to one of the most memorable sequences in the Star Wars movies.
