Lucasfilm's expansion through the Disney+ streaming service has paved the way for more stories set in a galaxy far, far away to be told. Following the success of shows like The Mandalorian and Obi-Wan Kenobi, the production company is looking to revisit the fan-favorite Rogue One: A Star Wars Story film via the Andor series which will take place five years prior to the events of the 2016 blockbuster.

Folks who have seen Rogue One are no longer strangers to the Cassian Andor character but it turns out that the intelligence officer who served in the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars is still a complete unknown. In fact, according to an interesting new detail, Cassian's true identity has remained a huge secret all these years.

According to Bespin Bulletin's sources, "Cassian Andor" isn't the real name of the beloved Rogue One protagonist and titular character of the upcoming Andor series. In fact, the outlet reports that the character, played by Diego Luna will go by the name Cassa (or Kassa).

The report also notes that the Andor surname isn't Cassa's family name and he only inherits it from Maarva Andor played by Fiona Shaw.
