Star Wars Battlefront II Teaser Image of Obi-Wan Kenobi Released

General Grievous has finally arrived to Star Wars Battlefront II, but DICE isn't done bringing new content into the game just yet. This month will see the release of new playable hero Obi-Wan Kenobi, and we have a new image of him in the game going against Grievous.

We don't have a specific set list for Obi-Wan yet, but it's said that his skills will be more defense-based this time around. I also wouldn't be surprised if they gave him some Jedi mind trick powers since that was a skill that Ben Kenobi introduced to us way back in A New Hope.

Besides the arrival of Obi-Wan, we're also going to be getting a new Geonosis map. We haven't gotten any specifics as to the exact location we're going to be on the planet, but the map has been teased to be one of the largest ever coming to the game. My guess is that it will be connected to the arena location as well as the main battlefield.

I'd be amazed if we got anything close to the droid factory or the Geonosian hive.

Though some have declared the game dead for months, the numbers alone have proven that Star Wars Battlefront II has been thriving ever since launch. The developers have done a lot to fix the game's progression system, and I think DICE just needs to do one more marketing push to get everyone interested in the game once more.

Maybe they can time a re-launch alongside the release of Star Wars Episode IX next year.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
