Star Wars Battlefront II: New Mod Turns BB-8 Into Baby Yoda

While Star Wars Battlefront II may have a shortage of official skins, it does have a very colorful modding community. Just in, Nanobuds posted up this teaser of a Baby Yoda skin for BB-8.

Check it out:

The video hasn't been officially released on his YouTube, so we should just take this as a work in progress for now. While the movement is the character is fitting for Baby Yoda, it wouldn't make sense for Baby Yoda not to spin alongside the cradle when it does its 360-attack. He also falls through the cradle when he's killed.

We don't know how much more Nanobuds wants to tweak this, but it already looks adorable. Imagine pairing him up with the Mandalorian mod for Finn. Do you think they can make a Cara Dune skin for Han Solo? I'd say Leia, but Cara should definitely be able to shoulder charge enemies if she could. Maybe they should just give the Ovisian Gunner a Cara skin.

For now, Star Wars Battlefront II is gearing up to come back to the Age of the Rebellion by the end of the month. After the drop of BB-8 and BB-9E, we're going to be getting one of the most requested maps from Battlefront 2015, Scarif. Hopefully, it also comes with heroes like Jyn Erso and Director Krennic. Heck, give us Greedo, Dengar, and Nien Nunb while you're at it.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
