Star Wars Battlefront II Gets Update for August’s Incoming Content

It may have taken a while, but DICE is slowly getting back the audience for Star Wars Battlefront II, and the game is prepping for a big update coming next month. While we don't have any official look at some material yet, we do have an update from DICE's Ben Walke.

This was his post:

With the game having so many delays before, it's great to know that things are going smoothly for next month's update. We don't know exactly what we're getting yet, but it has been teased that a new map of Felucia is in the works. What are the odds that it comes with a new game mode as well?

When it comes to Battlefront II, it seems that the community isn't just looking for new maps and characters, but improvements on what we have in the game already. There has been a big outcry for different skins for heroes and regular soldiers, and so far it seems the devs are just focusing on bringing in Clone Wars content to the game.

Now I love the prequel era just as much as the next Star Wars fan, but I kind of wish the ST and OT characters got a bit more love when it comes to Battlefront. The good thing is, the devs have assured the community that they're aware of what we want. It's just a matter of time before we get some official announcements.

For now, you can play Star Wars Battlefront II on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
