Star Wars Battlefront II: Major Dooku Update Coming on Tuesday

The Star Wars Battlefront II community celebrated when Obi-Wan was dropped late last year, and this month will see the arrival of a new character in the form of Separtist leader Count Dooku. Dooku is said to be arriving on the 23rd and a teaser for him is said to be coming this Tuesday.

This comes from DICE's Ben Walke:

While I am bummed that we didn't get any teasers for Dooku earlier, I'm just happy to see more things getting added to the game as promised. Leaks have confirmed that Dooku has a more elegant type of fighting style, and he'll also be the first lightsaber hero to be able to use Force lightning.

Besides Dooku's arrival, we'll also be getting a new skin for the clone troopers in the form of the Coruscant guard.

Though we are getting a new character this month, a lot more fans are looking forward to February. Next month will see the arrival of Light side hero Anakin Skywalker, and he's said to be the strongest hero there is. We'll also be getting the clone skin for Anakin's personal battalion, the 501st, plus a new game mode that is said to have capital ship takedowns included.

While Star Wars Battlefront II admittedly had a disastrous launch back in 2017, the game has greatly been improved with DICE fixing the progression system and removing all the microtransactions. I just hope they find a way to earn with the game so they can keep it alive for many more years to come.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
