Star Wars: Battlefront II Chosen One Update Will Give Players Free 60k Credits

This February will see the arrival of one of the biggest heroes of Star Wars to Battlefront II, Anakin Skywalker, and everyone is waiting on this Chosen One update. What's cool is, the game is going to be giving players free 60k credits when the update comes.

This was confirmed by DICE's Ben Walke:

Granted, with the scarcity of updates to the game, a lot of players have been able to gather up to a million credits. This money will probably be great for the newer players of the game, who would need to grind up to 140k if they want to unlock characters like Obi-Wan, Grievous, Dooku, and Anakin.

After suffering one of the worst launches in video game history, Star Wars Battlefront II is slowly getting back on its feet, with the development team in full swing to bring the promised live service to the game. Admittedly it didn't come earlier last year, seeing that they had to do a huge overhaul on the progression system—not to mention a lot of developers were ported over to work on Battlefield V.

Now BFV is done, and we can look forward to more updates for Battlefront II. After Anakin arrives this month, we're also getting a huge new game mode in March, so we have that to look forward to. Personally, I want to know if there are any updates connected to Star Wars Episode IX coming soon. Hopefully, we get confirmation at Star Wars Celebration this April.

The Chosen One update arrives Feb. 27. Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
