Star Wars Battlefront 2 Gamers Petition DICE to Continue Updating the Game

It looks like Star Wars gamers are petitioning for more DLCs for Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Last month, EA and DC decided to release the final content update for Star Wars Battlefront 2, allowing fans to return to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story's Battle on Scarif. The videogame developer and publisher have been keeping the Star Wars videogame updated on a regular basis, offering gamers new content from time to time ever since the game's release in 2017.

Hoping that EA rethinks its decision to end the updates to Battlefront 2, fans have started a petition on Change.org asking DICE to continue supporting the Star Wars action shooter videogame.

"Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is one of the greatest video game redemption stories of all time," Star Wars gamer Christen Adler writes in his petition, "From a disastrous launch to a complete success, the transformation of the game is inspiring to all Star Wars fans and gamers alike."

Adler is right. Despite the failed launch in November 2017, Battlefront 2 has become a phenomenal success. Gamers consider Battlefront 2 much, much better than its predecessor, offering fans a single-player campaign that introduces awesome new characters in Star Wars canon as well as multiplayer modes that make for strategic battles.

While we're not quite sure whether or not EA might continue updating Battlefront 2 (DICE seems to be ready to put its focus on the development of Battlefield 6), the petition seems to be growing strong with more than 52 thousand gamers providing their signature to campaign for the game.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
