Star Wars Artist Imagines What the Live-Action Cast of Cowboy Bebop will Look Like

Phil Noto has been working on the Poe Dameron comic for Lucasfilm, but he's known to share some fun doodles online from time to time. With the cast of Netflix's live-action Cowboy Bebop having been recently announced, Noto gives us his take on what the actors could look like in costume.

Just in case you aren't familiar, the cast of Cowboy Bebop includes John Cho as Spike, Mustafa Shakir as Ket Black, and Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine. Alex Hassel has also been cast as the main villain Vicious, but Noto didn't have a mock-up for him.

While we already have the three main crew members of the Bebop, we have no news on whether the show will include an appearance from super hacker Radical Edward a.k.a. Ed. Admittedly the character is kind of a wild card, and I imagine it would be tough interpreting her into live-action, but that doesn't mean she doesn't deserve to be on the show.

Hopefully, they find a way to bring her in a future episode. Since she is the last member to join the crew, I'm alright with her reveal being kept under wraps. Let's also not forget we need to have the Bebop's resident mongrel Ein.

For now, everyone is trying to remain cautiously optimistic about this live-action Bebop. Thanks to their adaptation of Death Note, Netflix now has a rep for terribly adapting anime into live-action. Fingers crossed that won't be the case with Cowboy Bebop.

No release date has been announced for Cowboy Bebop, but the show is expected to come out sometime in 2020.
