What Happened Before Star Wars: Andor Episode 6?
In Star Wars: Andor Episode 5, The Axe Forgets, the tension heightens with Syril and Eedy as Eedy becomes pushy to Syril to be perfect in everything he does so when he failed in Ferrix, it became a huge issue between them.
In Aldhani, Cassian finds out that people went through his stuff when he was asleep and some of it are missing. Panicked, Cassian looks if he still has his Kyber crystal. He sees Skeen look really suspicious and the latter reveals that Vel asked him to look through Cassian's things.
The husband and child of Mon Mothma are seen to grow some hatred on her because of being too self-centered and the senator expresses her feelings toward it.
Nemik talks to Cassian about the Empire forcing people to be dependent on devices to be able to keep an eye on them without their knowledge and as Nemik puts it, "The pace of repression outstrips our ability to understand it."
Tamaryn calls Cassian to discuss what to do about the freighter and how to take it out of the Garrison and with Vel, they ask Cassian about the weight recalibration of the vehicle, possibly testing his technical prowess, which Cassian delivers well after he found out that the two has literally no idea what he is talking about.
Cassian not only proves he is good with tech, he could also be good with flirting as he does it with Cinta who teaches her Aldhian while looking at his wounds. However, Skeen arrives and interrupts their moment. Cassian puts his Kyber crystal on his neck to ensure it's safe.
The Rebels succeed in stealing the payroll. However, tension boils between Cassian and the others. Cassian reveals that he is paid to do the job, not because of whatever cause they have.
