What Happened Before Star Wars: Andor Episode 11?
In Star Wars: Andor Episode 10, One Way Out, after realizing that no one is getting any freedom anymore from the Empire, Cassian prepares to do the impossible: escape from Narkina 5. See, Ulaf still helps them after death as his replacement will give them an open door out.
Kino convinced the others to help them make it possible because as he said, "Power doesn't panic." Word of mouth is fast, it reached others, too. A broken water pipe was all they need to make the attack possible. The other prisoners freed the other floors.
Cassian and Kino run to the control room to get to the intercom where Kino gives a speech that would forever change the course of the Rebellion, he encouraged everyone to help them as they go up against the Empire, "I would rather die trying to take them down than giving them what they want."
However, not all of them passed through. Kino makes a sacrifice -- he stayed behind! He reveals to Cassian that he couldn't swim so he could not escape with them, but with the look in his eyes, it is set in stone: he is satisfied being the flame of the rebels, one that could lead Cassian into his own path.
Meanwhile, Dedra Meero continuously ties her leads to who "Axis" is, well, that's Luthen Rael who is currently having some problems with Mon Mothma, the purse of the cause.
Surprisingly, there is a double-agent on the side of Luthen Rael -- Supervisor Lonni Jung. Lonni tells Luthen that Dedra is near in discovering who Luthen is.
A heartfelt speech from Luthen comes out, he tells that the rebel efforts have been going on the same time the Empire rose, 15 years prior, and he is fine even when he wouldn't see its success, he knows he planted enough seeds for others to sow.
"Calm. Kindness. Kinship. Love. I've given up all chance of inner peace, I've made my mind a sunless space. I share my dreams with ghosts," Luthen said. Then, he called onto every hero he could have on his side.
