The final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker recently dropped. And while Emperor Palpatine's appearance is all the hype, some fans can't help but wonder if Darth Vader would ever show up in the upcoming movie. Well, Hayden Christensen, who played the Sith Lord in the franchise, may have had a Star Wars-related appearance.
Disneyland Resort took to Twitter to share about Christensen exploring the planet of Batuu at the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. You can check out the tweet below.
According to the Disney Parks Blog, Christensen checked out the Millennium Falcon. And surprisingly, the actor actually went on to build a lightsaber at Savi's workshop together with his daughter. As it turns out, her daughter was actually celebrating her fifth birthday and that the plans on going to Galaxy's Edge were actually decided on by his daughter.
Fans of the actor were delighted to see Christensen at the famous park, especially when a photo of him passing on the lightsaber to his daughter was taken. It was a really cute moment between the father and daughter. The photo actually made some fans of his really happy especially because it's been a long time since they've seen The Chosen One holding a blue lightsaber.
There's no telling if Christensen will appear in The Rise of Skywalker. But since the photos of him were released, fans are still hoping to see the actor appear even for only a short time.
It is worth noting though that the tweet was actually deleted beforehand then posted again, but it could just be because of timing. However, a Redditor (u/smjurach) pointed out that some of the actors from the franchise are in LA for a photoshoot so it could hint that Christensen might be appearing in Episode IX.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres on December 20.
