There is little doubt that fans were delighted when The Book of Boba Fett finally brought back Baby Yoda. After all, people have been hoping to catch up with Grogu after he decided to go with Luke Skywalker to continue his Jedi training. In addition to that, Chapter Six gave the child an important decision to make. However, it looks like Star Wars already spoiled what will happen to the youngling once he returns in The Mandalorian Season 3!
In The Book of Boba Fett Episode 6, Luke Skywalker gave Grogu the option to give up his Jedi training. The Jedi Master presented the child with Din Djarin's gift and Yoda's lightsaber then asked him to make a choice. If the youngling goes with Djarin's gift, he can reunite with his old friend and leave his training. However, he will have to stay at the Jedi temple if he chooses the lightsaber.
Fans already believe that Grogu will choose to go with Djarin but Star Wars also revealed the child's decision in the comic books. In Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren #3, Ben Solo recalls his time at the Jedi Academy, stating that he was Luke's first student but many others followed after.
It might seem like a small detail but Luke had also told Grogu that he would be his first student in the Jedi Academy. If Ben ended up being the first, that would mean Grogu had decided not to continue with his training.
Of course, there is still a huge chance that The Mandalorian Season 3 will retcon what happened in the comics. On the other hand, we won't find out for sure until the series returns later this year.
