It goes without saying that The Mandalorian's third season failed to hit the mark with fans and critics but despite the beloved series not being able to stick the landing, the MandoVerse's hype has yet to wear off. Now, Star Wars fans eagerly await the release of Rosario Dawson's standalone Ahsoka series.
While the recently-concluded Star Wars Celebration in London dropped hints as to when we can expect it to arrive, Lucasfilm has yet to confirm the project's release date.
Well, it appears that Ahsoka's official premiere date has leaked online and if the latest rumors are to be believed, we'll see the return of the famed Jedi and the live-action debut of the Ghost Crew on August 31st.
According to a recent listing on the Disney Movie Insider page (via ComicBook), the anticipated series which basically serves as a continuation of Star Wars Rebels is currently slated for an end-of-August release on Disney+. The schedule has since been deleted which leads us to believe that it wasn't supposed to get leaked just yet.

In other Ahsoka news, rumors recently circulated that the series will be given a massive runtime, with each episode reportedly getting 60 minutes. As it stands, nothing official has been set in stone but the idea doesn't seem too farfetched to believe, especially considering Dave Filoni is mostly in charge of the show's creative direction.
Hopefully, Ahsoka doesn't suffer the same fate as The Book of Boba Fett in terms of fan engagement and interest because let's be honest, that show didn't exactly stick the landing either.
Meanwhile, you can check out Ahsoka's live-action appearances in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
