The WGA strike may have just claimed its latest victim and it's not the news Star Wars fans are going to be happy about.
Today, rumors circulated all over the internet that The Mandalorian's fourth season could be put on hold amid the latest labor dispute between the Writers Guild of America labor union and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers
On Twitter, industry insider MyTimeToShineHello teased The Mandalorian Season 4's concerning future, suggesting that the beloved series has been disrupted by the ongoing strike.
Hours later, Deadline ran a report suggesting that Season 4's production may indeed be affected. While Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have yet to officially confirm the show's follow-up season, many are already expecting it to happen.
As per the outlet, Season 4 was originally slated to begin filming in September of this year but with the whole WGA strike affecting several productions, things aren't looking all that great for Din Djarin and Din Grogu's returns.
Deadline reached out to Lucasfilm to address the matter but the production company chose not to comment.

Season 3 faced several issues, with the whole pandemic situation, Gina Carano's shocking firing, and Pedro Pascal's limited filming schedule nearly derailing production.
The problem Season 4 could potentially face is a whole different ball game, however. On a positive note, we're still months away from its production start date, and obviously, anything can happen in the next number of weeks. Then again, we still have no idea when the WGA strike will actually see its end.
