Star Wars: Age Of Rebellion Will Explore How Princess Leia Became A Bounty Hunter

Do you still remember the first time you watched Return of the Jedi? Most of us were so confused when the bounty hunter who sold Chewbacca actually turned out to be Princess Leia Organa. Now a new Star Wars comic book is set to explain how Leia prepared herself so she could rescue Han Solo.

StarWars.com has announced Marvel's Star Wars: Age of Rebellion, the new special series of one-shots written by Greg Pak. The comic series is the follow-up to the hugely successful Star Wars: Age of Republic and will focus on the characters in the original trilogy.

The first one-shot that will be released is Star Wars: Age of Rebellion – Princess Leia #1, which will focus on our favorite princess. Illustrated by Chris Sprouse, the comic book will take place right after The Empire Strikes Back. The story will reveal how Leia earned Bossk's trust after taking the identity of the bounty hunter Boushh.

While Princess Leia #1 takes place after The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars: Age of Rebellion – Grand Moff Tarkin #1 happens right after Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It will be illustrated by Marc Laming and reveal how the Imperial mastermind prepared the Death Star after the death of Orson Krennic.

Star Wars: Age of Rebellion Special #1 will focus on three different stories. The comic book will cover the story of IG-88, the droid bounty hunter as well as Rebel pilots Biggs Darklighter and Jef Porkins. The third story will explore Yoda's exile on Dagobah.

Star Wars: Age of Rebellion – Princess Leia #1 will be released on April 3. Star Wars: Age of Rebellion – Grand Moff Tarkin #1 and Star Wars: Age of Rebellion Special #1 will both land on April 10.
