When it was revealed that Han Solo joined The Resistance during Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, fans were somewhat surprised to see the former smuggler being happy as a resistance member since it seemed like he was gonna go back to his old ways. Turns out that he didn't join them right away as Star Wars: Age of Rebellion - Han Solo #1 reveals that the character hesitated to join Leia and Luke's fight against The Empire.
Though the comic book is still coming out next week, a preview via ScreenRant shows that Han did want to go back to his smuggling ways but a new mission from Luke Skywalker may have convinced him to join The Resistance. It will be interesting to see how the comic book does and if fans of Solo gravitate towards it and the other one-shots.
In fairness to Luke, he knows how to use Solo's instincts since the man sure knows how to steal things. Making use of Han's skills so that he can steal for the best of mankind is a great way to get an advantage over Vader and his mooks. This should be a very fun issue for fans of the franchise.
Star Wars: Age of Rebellion - Han Solo #1 comes out on May 1.
