Nearing the release of J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, fans expect some updates with regards to the film, maybe some plot hints or surprises, but an update from one of the actors is not what they were expecting.

Mark Hamill recently posted a video of Adam Driver. Since Driver does not have a social media account, Hamill took to Twitter for help on finding a missing dog.

The missing dog belongs to director Leos Carax. Javelot is a nine-year-old dog who Driver describes as "a member of the family to the crew." Javelot went missing while the crew was busy filming a scene in Belgium for the movie Annette. Driver said the dog got "spooked" by traffic and ran away. The actor then filmed a video to appeal to the fans for help to find the beloved dog.

The actor even made a promise in the video saying, "we will put you in the movie, we'll give you chocolate, we'll christen your child," as a way of saying thank you to whoever finds the dog. Hamill captioned the post saying, "we want to make sure he is warm-has shelter & fed," since the dog has been missing for 24 hours.

Fortunately, Javelot the dog was found. According to Indie Wire, a producer for the film Annette shared them the good news. So now, a question that will surely be raised from the fans is that, could the person who found the dog actually get to appear in the movie?

Regardless of whether that happens or not, it's a win-win for both Driver and Carax since the actor made his efforts to find the director's companion.

Hamill and Driver will both appear in the upcoming movie Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker, which will premiere on December 20, 2019.
