Star Wars: Hot Toys Reveals Official Look at The Mandalorian Figure

Hot Toys has a display at NYCC 2019, and it has its figure for the lead of Disney+'s upcoming The Mandalorian. With some photos of the display leaking out online, Hot Toys has decided to release the official promo shots for the upcoming figure.

Here's the official description:

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

In anticipation to the first-ever live-action Star Wars series, Hot Toys is excited to announce the 1/6th scale collectible figure of the title character, the Mandalorian.

The highly-accurate collectible figure features meticulously crafted helmet and armor pieces, finely tailored outfit, beautifully applied weathering effects, a blaster rifle, a blaster pistol, accessories to set up a diorama base including a battle-damaged Stormtrooper helmet, a flag, spears, and desert-themed figure base.

This Mandalorian collectible figure will surely become a treasured piece to add to your collection.

There are also some shots of the assassin droid IG-11 which was also on display at NYCC, but it's going to come as its own figure. So far only IG and The Mando have been announced by Hot Toys, but it's likely we'll be getting figures for other characters as well. My money is on Cara Dune (Gina Carano) getting the next figure, and maybe Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) to give collectors a new Imperial.

For now, The Mandalorian is set to debut on Disney+ when it launches on Nov. 12.
