Daisy Ridley shocked the online world last April when she made her return to Instagram after a six-year hiatus. So far, it would be safe to say that the Star Wars actress has readjusted to her social media life, and in all fairness, she has used the platform to great effect, amusing and inspiring her followers all at the same time.

In her recent Instagram story update, Daisy penned a heartfelt and powerful message to victims of society's biases, whether it be gender, racial, or religion-related. While the actress admits that she finds it hard sometimes to express her feelings regarding certain social issues, she says that she's "incredibly moved" by the acts of people standing up against the said prejudices.

She wrote: "So many awful things have happened this year, it's hard to know how to adequately express my feelings or word my support in what feels like a significant way. I hate that anyone is targeted for ANY reason - gender, sexual identity, religion, anything - and I am incredibly moved by the incredible acts of bravery I have witnessed from those fighting against these biases. I wish for anyone reading this; love, support, joy and a safe place to rest your head xx" Check it out here:
