Daisy Ridley has seemingly shied away from the spotlight following her involvement in Disney's divisive Star Wars sequel trilogy. While she isn't exactly laying low from doing films, the Rey Skywalker actress has yet to take on another high-profile role although speculation surrounding her casting in the Marvel universe has been quite persistent over the last couple of months.
These days, Ridley has been living a pretty lowkey life away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood. She also surprised fans when she made her return to social media last April after a six-year hiatus and so far, it looks like she's finally enjoying the platform.
Since her return to social media, Ridley has been keeping fans updated about the things she's been up to as of late. Last June, the Chaos Walking star revealed that she's now rocking a shorter hairstyle. However, it turns out that particular look was actually short-lived because on her latest Instagram story update, Daisy unveiled her shaved blonde head. It goes without saying that fans are still divided when it comes to the Rey character but personally, I've always seen her as one of the sequel trilogy's redeeming qualities, despite the whole "Mary Sue" argument. She's just a victim of bad writing and terrible creative decisions.
Now, Ridley's future in the Star Wars franchise seems a little uncertain but considering The Rise of Skywalker concluded in an open-ended fashion, it's safe to assume that we haven't seen the last of Rey Skywalker.
