Star Wars Actress Daisy Ridley Called 'Intimidating' on Chaos Walking Set

There is little doubt that the cast and crew of the Star Wars sequel trilogy films never had any complaints about Daisy Ridley. However, it looks like the director of Chaos Walking had a completely different opinion about the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actress, who claims she was called "intimidating" and "aggressive" by director Doug Liman.

Ridley recently spoke to Tatler where she admitted she received some interesting feedback while working on certain projects.

"I've been told that I'm intimidating," Ridley said. "That was on Chaos Walking. I was having my hair done, having my wig put on. I remember thinking, ‘God, should I be smaller? Should I be quieter?' I've been called aggressive, too. My energy is ‘quite aggressive.' That was during a meeting with a director."

Naturally, the feedback left an impression on Ridley, who wondered if she was coming on too strong simply for having passion for her work.

"I was thinking: ‘But why? Is it because I maintained eye contact? Is it because I'm passionate about what we're talking about?' I dunno," Ridley said. "You have that horrible sinking feeling of, ‘God, do I not come across the way I think I do?'"

Although it might sound negative, there is little doubt that Ridley's performances speak for itself. With that in mind, we can't wait to see her in action in Chaos Walking this March.

Chaos Walking also stars Spider-Man 3 actor Tom Holland and new Fantastic Beasts 3 addition Mads Mikkelsen. The film is scheduled for release on March 5.
