Daisy Ridley made her triumphant return to social media following her controversial 2016 exit. Of course, a lot has changed since the last time the Star Wars actress was on Instagram and she's admittedly trying to relearn the photo-sharing platform. Ridley's return happened just days before her 30th Birthday and to a lot of fans, her shocking social media comeback almost felt like a huge present.
On her official Instagram page, the British actress was showered with love by the fandom who are so thrilled to once again be getting updates from the 30-year-old. Even her co-star and mentor Mark Hamill was elated to have her back on the platform and took the time to greet the Rey Skywalker actress on her special day. Sharing the now-iconic piggy back photo taken while filming the sequels.
Hamill wrote: "SHOUT OUT to #DaisyJazzIsobelRidley for no particular reason, other than being a wonderful actor, a lovely person & for giving me one of the sweetest piggyback rides I've ever had."

Meanwhile, Ridley is being rumored for a major return to a galaxy far, far away and according to the latest reports, she is set to lead a brand new trilogy picking up where the Skywalker saga left off. Of course, this shouldn't come as a huge shocker considering The Rise of Skywalker ended in an open-ended fashion. The real question is, when can we expect to see it all go down? With Star Wars Celebration just around the corner, would it be safe to assume that's where Lucasfilm will break the announcement?
