Star Wars Actor Teases His Mysterious Ironheart Role

Years after the disappointing performance of Solo: A Star Wars Story at the box office, Alden Ehrenreich, who played the titular scoundrel, is back in the game as he is now involved again in high-profile projects such as Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer and the upcoming MCU series Ironheart.

So far, the plot details for the series are being kept under wraps as well as Ehrenreich's mysterious role although there are rumors that he might be playing someone that has tie-ins with one of the first MCU villains.

Speaking recently with Discussing Film at the Sundance Film Festival, Ehrenreich briefly teased his involvement in Ironheart. While he played coy about his role, he did express his enjoyment of being part of a high-profile project again.

"Ironheart, it’s big, but it also feels very personal, so I appreciated that. And it was, it was fun, it was nice to go back and do a big one like that," he said.

A lot of fans have been anticipating the release of Ironheart, especially in the aftermath of Riri Williams' introduction recently in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and the set-up that they made on the potential storyline that they will explore in the series.

Even though the actor was keeping mum about his mysterious role, his comments sure do add up to the hype nonetheless since it sounds like he had fun playing his character which may translate for the audience on the screen and, at the same time, it will still be personal despite its scale.

It is interesting to see what kind of role is Ehrenreich playing in the series and whether he will be on the good or bad side or if he will also end up appearing in other projects in the franchise. Whatever happens, it is surely exciting to see him in a high profile again a few years after we last saw him in Star Wars.
