Star Wars Actor Ray Park Is Open To A Maul And Boba Fett Team-Up Movie

Star Wars fans were pretty surprised when Maul (Ray Park) appeared in Solo: A Star Wars Story. The former Sith Lord had didn't have any direct ties to Han Solo at all, and Maul was one of the least expected cameos in the movie.

Though we have yet to see whether Lucasfilm would decide to develop a sequel to the Han Solo standalone movie so that fans get to see more of Maul, Ray Park would like to return in another Star Wars film – this time in a team-up movie with Boba Fett.

Speaking in an interview with Nerdist, the actor was asked whether or not he could see Maul working together with Boba Fett in a movie. Though Lucasfilm has yet to confirm a Boba Fett project, Park seems certainly open to the idea of a Boba Fett and Maul movie.

"I hope so. It would be cool. For many years, when Daniel was coming over before Solo, I said, you never know, one day they may do something. Daniel is one of these guys who's Mr. Natural. He doesn't actually have to work at doing anything, he can just do it. So with some work, he could be unbelievable," Park told the publication.

Coincidentally, Park actually trains together with another Star Wars actor, Daniel Logan who played Boba Fett in Attack of the Clones. If Lucasfilm were to ever develop a Maul and Boba Fett project, then Park probably wouldn't mind working together with Logan. Still, it seems rather unlikely that Lucasfilm would give the two a team-up movie, especially now that the studio is busy working on the main Star Wars saga.

Lucasfilm's next movie, Star Wars: Episode IX, hits cinemas December 20, 2019.
