Lucasfilm's Star Wars sequel trilogy might have finally come to an end with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker back in December, but that hasn't curbed the enthusiasm of the Star Wars actor, John Boyega.
The actor has still been pretty active on social media, and that hasn't really changed now that The Rise of Skywalker has been winding down from the spotlight. Discussing with fans on a Star Wars post on Instagram, Boyega revealed that he had once come off as a little bit "too angry" to fans during interviews held during the release of the movie.
"Had to do PR training and was told I came off too angry, which honestly just made me more angry," Boyega told fans on a post that he shared on Instagram.
We can only imagine Lucasfilm working hard on training Boyega for Episode IX. The Rise of Skywalker had once been one of the most highly anticipated films of 2019. Not only was the movie supposed to close the entire sequel trilogy, but it was also supposed to culminate the entire Skywalker saga.
Despite all of the anticipation built over The Rise of Skywalker, the film became one of the most divisive films in the franchise. Critics struggled with the film, giving Episode IX mixed to negative reviews. The Star Wars fanbase was largely divided over the film.
Such a shame to see Boyega working so hard for a movie that didn't really strike a chord among Star Wars fans.
