Without any Star Wars movie to fill up the holiday season, Star Wars fans have begun itching to know more about Star Wars: Episode IX, the third and final sequel trilogy installment set for release in December next year.
Hoping for a teaser of the movie from Lucasfilm this month, fans have been taking matters into their own hands, badgering Star Wars legend Mark Hamill for more info about The Last Jedi's highly anticipated sequel. One even went as far as asking for an image of the trailer for Episode IX.
An active Star Wars troll, Hamill was quick to reply, telling his fanbase that he would "post one tomorrow. Exclusive."
Of course, knowing the infinite joker that Hamill is (pun intended), it's difficult to expect the Star Wars legend to take the request seriously. Hamill always makes fun of his fans, especially those looking for spoilers and those who cook up hilarious theories about the Star Wars films to come.
Posting his "exclusive" image of the Star Wars trailer, Hamill took to Twitter to share an image of his very own physical trailer for Episode IX, throwing in a "Bonus vintage photo of #TrollMasterHamill (who's considering retirement now that it's impossible to trick you nerds!)."
Check out the tweet down here:
Honestly, when will the Star Wars fanbase learn that Hamill loves making fun of them all the time. Guess everyone's just going to have to hunker down and wait for Lucasfilm to roll out the official trailer for Episode IX.
Star Wars: Episode IX hits cinemas December 20, 2019.
