Star Trek Universe Super Bowl Ad Enlists Patrick Stewart, Sonequa Martin-Green, Jeri Ryan, and More

The Star Trek Universe got an awesome ad during Super Bowl LV and it was an all-star lineup that included Patrick Stewart, Sonequa Martin-Green, Anson Mount, Jeri Ryan, and more. It was also the perfect way to announce that Trekkies will get to see every Star Trek episode on Paramount+ starting March.

The TV spot aired during the Big Game on Sunday night and it featured everyone who is anyone in the Star Trek Universe. It opens with Jean-Luc Picard and features Michael Burnham, Christopher Pike, Spock, Saru, and Seven of Nine. Check it out below.

Picard has an interesting message for Trekkies in the ad. "We are such stuff as dreams are made of. Openness, optimism, curiosity. That is life. That's why we're here," the former Enterprise captain says.

Interestingly, the caption also confirms that fans can get to see every episode from every Star Trek series on Paramount+ starting this March. This will include Star Trek: The Original Series and Star Trek: The Next Generation as well as the new shows Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Discovery, and Star Trek: Lower Decks.

It's also great that the ad includes Mount and Ethan Peck who has been confirmed to appear in the spin-off show Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Although the series has not yet been given an official release date, it is expected to premiere sometime in 2021. This could mean it will be one of the first shows to air on Paramount+.

Paramount+ was originally called CBS All Access before the major change. The streaming service will be launched on March 4.
