Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Michael Dorn Has One Condition to Join CBS’ Picard Series

Star Trek legend Patrick Steward might be reprising his role as Star Trek: The Next Generation's Jean Luc-Picard in an all-new series for CBS All Access, however, there hasn't been any word on whether any of the Captain's crew members would be joining him on the show. Lieutenant Worf seems interested though.

Speaking in an interview with Inverse, Star Trek: The Next Generation actor Michael Dorn revealed that he'd be willing to join Stewart in his new series – well if the conditions are right for a reprisal.

"I'm only interested in if it's something really interesting; if the character was a major part of the franchise or whatever the show is," the actor told the publication when he was asked whether he'd be willing to reprise his role as the Klingon Worf. "He's not just going to show up, beat somebody up, and then go home."

For those who aren't familiar with the series or the character, Lieutenant Worf is a member of the Starfleet Federation and was considered one of the most influential Klingons in the Star Trek series. Dorn has played Worf throughout all the seven seasons of The Next Generation as well as the four different films that feature the series' original crew, and all four seasons of the show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. While there's still no certainty whether or not CBS will bring any of the USS Enterprise's crew back in Stewart's upcoming series, we're pretty sure Trekkies would love to see Dorn in the show.

Stewart's Star Trek series has yet to receive a release date but we'll update everyone as soon as we get word.
