Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Could Bring Back Unexpected Character as New Main Villain

One of the best things about the Star Trek Universe is that the possibilities are endless and anyone could be brought back with a valid reason. So is there any chance that a character who has been presumed dead will return in Star Trek: Picard Season 2? A new theory suggests that Dahj might be brought back and become the new main villain in the CBS All Access series.

In the first season of Star Trek: Picard, Dahj is one of the first characters we meet and she immediately led us to Jean-Luc Picard. Unfortunately, she is immediately killed by the Romulans and it is her death that actually gets Picard started on his new adventure. But is it possible that Dahj didn't die in Season 1? A theory suggests that she may have been beamed away just in time by a possible Star Trek villain.

It is suggested that the Borg Queen has taken an interest in Dahj and may have beamed her into a Borg Cube before she was fully disintegrated. Of course, that would mean Dahj will need several repairs but it's possible that this is something that the Borg Queen is willing to do. As Data's daughter and a synthetic with great potential, the Borg Queen might view her as the future of the Borg.

Although we're loving the idea that we'll see more of Isa Briones in Star Trek: Picard Season 2, it's important to point out that Dahj's return has not yet been confirmed. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

Star Trek: Picard Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
