A Star Trek Beyond fan event took place last week at the Paramount Pictures studio lot, where they unveiled the new trailer for the Justin Lin-directed film. The event, hosted by Adam Savage, gave chance the fans to meet J.J. Abrams, Justin Lin, Chris Pine, Karl Urban, and Zachary Quinto as well, and it was also held to celebrate the franchise's 50th anniversary. Thanks to Trailer Addict, we got some footage showing the event. Also included are video messages from Slash, Simon Pegg, and Denise Okuda explaining why they love Star Trek.
