As part of CBS's upfronts, the network showed advertisers sneak peaks of its upcoming slate of TV shows, and one of them is the new Star Trek series led by Pushing Daisies and Hannibal showrunner Bryan Fuller, and CBS revealed the first look at the new logo in this 50-second teaser:
The network hasn't announced any casting or plot details yet, but we do know that they're planning to release one episode a week online after premiering on CBS. The episodes will exclusively be available for stream on CBS All Access.
The new Star Trek series will launch in January 2017.
