Star Lord Has No Intention Of Switching Teams After Infinity War And Avengers 4

Avengers: Infinity War might gather Marvel's greatest heroes together, but it looks like Star Lord has no intention of changing teams after the battle against Thanos.

Though some fans might hope that Star Lord would take a seat at the Avenger's table after the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4, Chris Pratt tells Empire Magazine (via Comic Book Movie) that even though he crosses paths with Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Peter Quill has no of leaving his merry band of space misfits.

"Peter's always going to be a Guardian. I'll let the fans decide that. I'm not sure what the right answer to that is, in case I give away too much. But it was important to us, going into this, that the Guardians have a different style. Avengers has its own tone but in a way that allows the Guardians to remain the Guardians, in terms of what they bring and what people will expect to see from them"

The Guardians might have some fun bonding together with the Avengers in Infinity War and Avengers 4, but they know who's part of their family. Besides, the Guardians still have Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 after the two Avengers movies.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27. Avengers 4 follows the year after, May 3, 2019.
