It might not come as a surprise when you hear that Marvel comic book legend Stan Lee gets a cameo in a Marvel movie like Avengers: Infinity War or Ant-Man and the Wasp, but there's a whole lot of shock when word comes out that Marvel's Cameo King actually makes an appearance in DC Entertainment's animated movie, Teen Titans Go! To The Movies.

According to a new report by Variety, Lee actually gets to have a few lines in Teen Titans Go! To The Movies, popping up in the film to say that "This is Stan Lee – dig my subtle cameo! This is a DC movie? I gotta get outta here."

Still, despite the realization that he's actually in a DC film, Lee throws caution off the cliff and makes a return in the Teen Titans movie.

It definitely comes as a shock hearing that Lee made a cameo in the Teen Titans Go movie. Lee's always been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and no one's ever expected the Marvel comic book writer to pop up in a film from the studio's biggest rival. Fans, however, have to remember while Lee's always been associated with Marvel, he's also become the face of the superhero genre. Teen Titans Go! To The Movies is the second time Lee's popped up in an animated superhero movie. The first animated film he's been in is Big Hero 6.

Teen Titans! Go To The Movies hits cinemas on July 27, 2018.
