Stan Lee Has Filmed Cameos for Three Upcoming Marvel Movies

Stan Lee has become a hot topic for all the wrong reasons recently, with many hoping that he is getting the proper care needed for someone his age. Lee's recent battle of Pneumonia took its toll on the Marvel icon and reports of elder abuse have been worrisome, though he claims that they're untrue.

With all that in mind, fans might be happy to know that he just filmed three more cameos for the next few MCU films. This might not be what Stan needs but he always seems to have a blast doing these scenes.

During an interview with BBC Radio Scotland, Avengers: Infinity War co-director Joe Russo talked about the process of getting Lee for these cameos. Russo points out how Lee doesn't like to fly, so they try to film multiple cameos at once to compensate for it. Joe confirmed that he has cameos for Ant-Man and The Wasp, as well as Avengers 4.

"So, Stan, typically we try to get him out — he doesn't love to fly — so we try to get him out for his cameos around the same time. So if we have other movies shooting on the same lot that we're on, for instance Ant-Man 2 or Avengers 4, we group his cameos together and then move him from one set to the next and kind of get him through his cameos in one day."

Considering his age and what he's gone through, we can't blame him for not wanting to fly out much. We can only hope that Stan enjoys the time he spends on camera since he will be in some of the more enjoyable parts of a Marvel film.

Avengers: Infinity War comes out on April 27. Ant-Man and The Wasp will hit theaters on July 6.
