Square Enix May Bring More PS4 Pro Support for Final Fantasy XV

The first impressions of Final Fantasy XV's hype suggests that fans will have a great time with the game. However, an issue has recently come up, particularly for fans who are looking to get the PS4 Pro where they can enjoy the latest installment in the franchise.

This is because game director Hajime Tabata had been quoted to say that Final Fantasy XV is not natively created for the PS4 Pro. And given that the newer PS4 console is supposedly comparable to the PC in terms of having a different structure than current gen consoles, creating a game for it will require too much time than what the team can handle.

However, a new fan who had rechecked the translation of Tabata's interview had provided some clarifications on what Tabata actually said. As per the discussions on NeoGAF (as per PlayStation Lifestyle), one user Lulost clarified that what he actually meant was that the game doesn't take full advantage of the PS4 Pro yet.

"Time is something we don't have right now, neither we had foreseen the PS4 Pro existence before. In the future, with some dedication and time maybe we can get a PS4 Pro version of the game that can take advantage of the system's capabilities."
From the looks of it, since the game wasn't constructed for the PS4 Pro, it will require time for the team to develop and bring features that are specific to the console.

That's not so bad, considering that Square Enix has already had to delay the game just to make sure that the game is the best it can be. Again, a little waiting will do well, if it means maximizing what PS4 Pro can offer.

Final Fantasy XV will be released on Nov. 29 on the PS4 and Xbox One.
