Spyro Reignited Trilogy Coming To Nintendo Switch?

When the Spyro Reignited Trilogy was announced, many gamers were happy to see the classic PlayStation character brought back for a newer generation. Fans were also thrilled seeing that the trilogy would immediately be available for PS4 and Xbox One, so those that bought the latter console won't have to wait for a year. It looks like the same can't be said for the Nintendo Switch, unfortunately.

Or can it?

In a surprising bit of news, the Nintendo UK Store is actually taking pre-orders for the game. While it's now been taken down, screenshots taken by Nintendo Life prove that the option was there. Since the Switch is getting the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, it's not a huge surprise to see Spyro make his way to Nintendo's new console.

The Switch is already home to a number of great platformers, like Super Mario Odyssey, Shovel Knight, and Kirby Star Allies. Having games like Crash and Spyro only adds more appeal to the console Nintendo made, especially with the option to play it on the go.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy comes out in September 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One. No word on when the game will be hitting the Switch or PC.
